La Bûche de Noël or 'Yule log' in English is a very traditional French Christmas dessert which takes the shape of a 'piece of wood', hence its name. In this version, Chef Maxime counterbalances the silkiness of the vanilla with the blackberry and the blueberry, giving at the same time the colors of 'Monique' to this light dessert.
